Workshop Goals

Workshop Goals:
- Gather a diverse community of experts to review state of knowledge for GMMs in Cascadia and identify what is different about subduction ground motions from crustal earthquakes, and the impact on GMs
- Define the broad needs, goals, and directions of ground motion modeling and hazard
- identify priorities in fundamental and applied science directions for the next decade
Participants will engage in discussion and brainstorming with the desired outcome to coauthor a peer reviewed roadmap or opinion piece for this frontier.
